We are seeking a skilled
Cabinet Maker
to join the team at TRENDGOSA PTY LTD in Heidelberg West, Victoria. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke cabinetry for residential and commercial clients. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional joinery solutions that meet our clients' specifications and exceed their expectations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to our reputation for excellence in the cabinet making industry.
Key responsibilities
Being able to laminate and veneer on formed and flat surfaces
Confidently use panel saw and hand tools to undertake day to day works
Work with others in a team setting
Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working condition
Adhere to health and safety standards and best practices in the workshop.
Communicate effectively with production mangers and colleagues to ensure project requirements are met
Quality check all work to ensure it meets company standards and client specifications
What we're looking for
Completed apprenticeship or formal qualification in cabinet making and joinery
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in cabinet making or bespoke joinery work
Proficiency with cabinet making machinery including panel saws, trimmers, planers and the like
Strong knowledge of materials and finishing techniques
Experience using hand tools with precision and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Physical capability to handle materials and work safely in a workshop environment
Reliable work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly timber practices is advantageous
