This is a varied, hands-on production position covering printing, finishing, quality control, packing and general workflow support. Depending on your existing experience, your responsibilities may include operating large-format and small-format printing equipment, loading media, setting up jobs, monitoring print quality, operating finishing equipment, assisting with mounting and fabrication, reviewing job tickets and specifications, checking colour and quality against artwork, identifying production issues, preparing jobs for dispatch, maintaining a clean production environment, completing routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance, monitoring consumables, supporting other production areas, working with prepress and production leadership, and helping improve production processes and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Operating large-format roll-to-roll and flatbed printing equipment
Loading media, setting up jobs and monitoring print quality throughout production
Operating finishing equipment such as laminators, cutters and trimming equipment
Assisting with mounting, application, fabrication and general print finishing
Reviewing job tickets, specifications and production requirements before commencing work
Checking colour, sizing, finishing and overall quality against approved artwork and job requirements
Identifying production issues early and working with the team to find practical solutions
Preparing completed jobs for packing, dispatch, installation or national distribution
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised production environment
About you
Has practical experience in print production, signage, display manufacturing or a similar environment
Is confident working independently while also contributing to a close-knit team




Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
Can read job tickets, measurements and production specifications accurately
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Is reliable, organised and willing to take ownership of their work
Communicates clearly and raises potential problems before they affect deadlines
Is physically comfortable with a hands-on production role
Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn new equipment and processes
Wants to grow their skills and take on greater responsibility over time
