As the Principal Workforce Officer, you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of statewide allied health workforce strategies and projects that strengthen workforce capacity, support future workforce pipelines, and advance clinical education, research, models of care, digital innovation and leadership initiatives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, representing Queensland Health in consultation, negotiation and collaboration with professional associations, educational institutions, registration authorities and industrial organisations on complex workforce matters. In this role, you will prepare high-quality reports, submissions, strategic plans and communications to support informed decision-making, while providing expert advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders on complex allied health workforce issues and priorities across Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
High level knowledge of Health Practitioner disciplines and experience in the delivery of workforce and allied health service delivery.
Ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
High level knowledge and ability to manage successful outcomes in complex projects and initiatives.
Ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex workforce planning, reform and professional issues.
