About the role
We are seeking an established MC 2 Up team to join TML Transport out of Redbank and Paradise, QLD depots through to Adelaide. This is a routine run offering the opportunity to work as part of an experienced driving partnership within our linehaul operations. The MC 2 Up team model allows for shared driving responsibilities, enabling longer distances to be covered safely and efficiently whilst maintaining work-life balance. This role is will run two trips per week and is critical to our operations, ensuring goods are transported reliably and on schedule to support our clients' business needs.
Key responsibilities
Minimum 2 years' experience operating articulated vehicles (MC class) in compliance with all road transport regulations and safety standards
Share driving duties with your team partner to maximise safety and operational efficiency on linehaul routes
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements and company policy
Communicate effectively with clients and team partners regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent TML Transport positively in all client interactions
Contribute to a positive team culture and support the professional development of colleagues
What we're looking for
Current and valid MC (Heavy Rigid Combination) driver's licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience as an MC driver with extensive roadranger experience
Demonstrated experience working successfully as part of a two-up driving team
Thorough knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation and fatigue management requirements
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance basics and the ability to conduct routine vehicle checks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with your team partner
High level of professionalism, reliability and commitment to safety practices
BFM fatigue management certificate and current driver medical
