Estimating Manager | Residential Builder & Developer
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected residential builder and developer based in a up-to-date, vibrant office in
Ormeau
. With a robust and growing pipeline of upcoming projects, prodominantly investment style homes but some one-off custom homes& townhouse developments, they are looking for a hands-on and strategic
Estimating Manager
to take the reins and oversee the entire estimating department. This is a key leadership role where you will not only drive accuracy and efficiency across tenders and take-offs but also mentor and guide the estimating team as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee, manage, and mentor the estimating team to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Review and manage estimating processes for residential builds, custom homes, and townhouse projects.
Oversee cost planning, trade quoting, subcontracting packages,



and tender submissions.
Collaborate closely with the sales, production, and project management teams.
Ensure all estimates align with company margin targets, quality standards, and timelines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience as an Estimating Manager, Senior Estimator, or similar leadership role within the residential construction sector.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to bring out the best in a team.
High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to construction workflows.
