We are seeking an organisedand enthusiastic
Student Services Officer
to join the ASA Institute of Higher Education team. The student services team works collaboratively with both administration and faculty members to provide specialised support for our on-campus students.
Part Time- and Full time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on campus support for students, staff and stakeholders at the student services front desk
Manage all inbound student email and phone enquiries as well as providing face to face support on campus
Support the student consent process for enrolment into units each quarter and follow up with students
Support students with enrolment adjustments and course change requests including but not limited to leave of absence requests, study load request changes, course withdrawals and issuance of academic documentation
Monitor and maintain quality student data in ASA's Student Management System (Meshed)
Support the issuance and reporting of Intention to Report notices and learning contracts to students as a result of non-enrolment, non-payment or non-academic progression
Participate in and support student events including Orientation,
Graduation and engagement activities held on campus in conjunction with the Student Representative Council (SRC)
Alongside IT, support students to with log in and access to all ASA related systems, Outlook, Canvas and Meshed
Assist in monitoring facility issues and incident reports
What we're looking for
Completion of secondary qualification(s) and/or relevant work experience
Experiences working in student administration or student services in tertiary/higher education sector is preferred
Knowledge of key legislation and frameworks relevant to international students, including the
ESOS Framework
and
National Code
Demonstrated skills high level customer service
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
High attention to detail
Flexibility to work rostered shifts between 8.00am - 5.30pm
