PJL supports the mining industry by providing asset hire, maintenance services, labour and project support, mechanical and engineering services along with the manufacture and sale of retail items including ground engaging tools.
About the Role
This is a full time, Monday to Friday role based in our Mechanical Workshop and ideally would suit someone who likes to start early and finish early (however not essential). Permanent full-time role with a monthly RDO.
Busy and varied role for an administration person that has knowledge of purchasing, inventory and general administration in a mechanical workshop.
Raise purchase orders for workshop materials, parts and consumables
Ensure both supplier and customer purchase orders are processed in a timely manner
Creation of sales orders and jobs in internal M1 system
Regularly liaising with suppliers regarding quotes,



availability and due dates
Be first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and customer enquiries
Communicate with workshop personnel regarding administrative and operational support matters
Supporting business operations and internal processes
Participate in weekly Work in Progress meetings
Ensure all job documentation is collected and stored as per the company requirements
Your Skills
Experience in an administrative role in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment
Knowledge of mechanical products and materials (an advantage)
Well-developed organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise work within an workplace of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities
High attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal M1 system
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
