As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an important part in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:
Household tasks - household cleaning and laundry
Skill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transport
Transport - transport to appointments and/or shopping
Social & Community participation - engage in the community, meet people.
Applicants must have:
Right to work in Australia
Relevant Industry experience
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Cert IV or equivalent
Current Working with children blue card and NDIS workers screening check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Current Manual Handling Certificate and Medication Certificate
Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
Training credentials in Complex Care, for example - Bowel Care, Peg Feeding, Dementia and Mental Health would be highly regarded.
