Neil Mansell Concrete is looking for a seasoned
Customer Service Manager
to lead our Sunshine Coast operations. Based in Maroochydore, you will be responsible for the efficient dispatch and coordination of our agitator fleet, ensuring that every load reaches its destination on time and to specification.
This isn't just about moving trucks; it's about strategic planning, managing pressure, and maintaining the high service standards that have defined the Neil Mansell Concrete for decades.
Key Responsibilities
Receive & Schedule Orders During Busy Periods:
As the Customer Service Manager you will have oversight of allocation staff while taking calls and scheduling orders when required.
Manage allocation staff:
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for training allocation staff and ensuring calls managed to a high standard
Fleet Coordination:
Optimise the daily schedule for a large fleet of concrete agitators across multiple Sunshine Coast plants.
Strategic Batching:
Work closely with our batchers to sequence loads effectively, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency while keeping jobs on time
Problem Solving:




Rapidly re-route and adjust schedules in response to weather changes, site delays, or mechanical issues.
Reporting:
The role reports to the Production Manager and General Manager while working closely with Plant Managers
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
Some experience as a senior allocator responsible for other staff. Minimum 5 years' experience in the concrete industry.
Local Knowledge:
A solid understanding of the Sunshine Coast Road network and construction landscape.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in industry-standard dispatch and GPS tracking software (e.g., Command Alkon, Jonel, or similar).
Cool Under Pressure:
The ability to stay calm, professional, and decisive during the morning "peak" and unexpected disruptions.
Communication:
Clear, assertive, and friendly communication skills to manage both drivers and demanding clients.
