THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking an experienced
Financial Accountant
to join our high-performing team based in
Sydney or Orange, NSW
, on a permanent full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in supporting business performance through accurate financial reporting, commercial analysis and strong stakeholder engagement. Working closely with operational and finance leaders, you will contribute to informed decision-making, ensure compliance with financial obligations and drive continuous improvement across financial processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and analysing monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
Partnering with finance and operational leaders to improve financial performance, accountability and business outcomes.
Providing financial analysis and insights, including profitability, labour recovery, cost rates and profit and loss performance.
Managing and supporting accounts receivable activities, including debtor reporting, collections oversight and cash flow management.
Assisting with taxation compliance, including BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and other statutory requirements.
Maintaining balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations, strong financial controls and governance processes.
Supporting month-end and year-end reporting requirements,



audits and compliance activities.
Identifying opportunities to enhance financial systems, reporting capabilities and business processes.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
A minimum of two years' experience in a financial accounting, management accounting or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a willingness to embrace recent challenges and opportunities.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also operating independently when required.
A strong commitment to accuracy, integrity and professional standards.
