We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the **** school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Baldivis Primary School is a rapidly growing semi-rural residential suburb 46 kilometres south of Perth. Our school has a proud tradition serving the Baldivis community for over 100 years.

The Role
Aligning with our Positive Behaviour Support philosophy, we are seeking confident, adaptable,
respectful and enthusiastic K-6 teachers who are committed to unlocking the learning potential of every student. We are looking for teachers who are confident in their practice, adaptable in their mindset, respectful in their relationships and enthusiastic about learning.
The successful applicants will ideally have:
Strong experience in building genuine, respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues, supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A sound knowledge of evidence based, high impact teaching practices and the ability to use these to maximise student learning, engagement and well-being.
Strong skills in establishing calm, positive and inclusive learning environments, supported by effective positive behaviour strategies and consistent classroom routines.
The capacity to work collaboratively, use student data to inform planning and teaching and refine practice to maximise outcomes for students.
The capacity to be adaptable and enthusiastic learners who embrace coaching, observation and feedback to continually strengthen professional practice.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
