Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast
is seeking a
Registered Nurse
to work within our Surgical team. This position will be employed on a
permanent part-time basis, 32 hours per week
. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope's Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater's commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.
Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in **** and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.
Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour
plus superannuation

What you'll be doing
Displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit
Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment
Demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge in the care of surgical patients
About you
To be successful in your application, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 12 months postgraduate experience in an acute care hospital setting
Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care and outcomes
Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
