The Chance
Build your civil engineering experience on a major rail manufacturing infrastructure programme in Ormeau. Work alongside engineers and supervisors to coordinate site activities, solve construction issues and maintain reliable project records.
Your Responsibilities
Interpret drawings and specifications and help prepare work methods and plans.
Coordinate assigned civil work areas against safety, quality, cost and programme requirements.
Track site progress, productivity and resources and prepare accurate reporting.
Assist with procurement, quantities, cost tracking and supplier or subcontract administration.
Support inspections, ITPs, RFIs, lot records, defects and non-conformance close-out.
Work with supervisors and stakeholders to resolve practical delivery problems.
RequirementsSkills, Education And Requirements
Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
Typically at least two years in construction or infrastructure.
Experience supporting engineering scopes or construction work packages.
Understanding of construction methods, contracts and project controls, with commercial awareness.
Good organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.
Accountable and collaborative approach, with confidence working independently when required.
