An opportunity has become available for an accomplished Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director & CEO of a highly regarded ASX-listed financial services organisation.
This is a true senior EA position requiring a high degree of trust, judgement and discretion. Working closely with a busy, externally facing CEO, you will operate as a critical point of leverage across an extensive schedule, executive communications, travel and stakeholder commitments.
The CEO relies heavily on their EA to understand priorities, filter information and ensure their attention is directed towards what matters most. As such, this role will suit someone who is comfortable working with considerable autonomy and who can anticipate requirements rather than simply respond to them.
The role Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a complex and constantly evolving diary, ensuring competing priorities are appropriately assessed and managed
Taking significant ownership of the CEO's inbox, filtering correspondence, identifying priorities and ensuring important matters are surfaced and actioned
Coordinating domestic and international travel, meetings and associated logistics
Supporting the CEO around external speaking engagements, industry events and other high-profile commitments, ensuring they are appropriately briefed and prepared
Acting as a trusted liaison across the executive leadership team, Board stakeholders and key internal and external relationships
Maintaining an awareness of business priorities, announcements and sensitive matters within a listed company environment
Working closely with Company Secretariat and other internal stakeholders around Board and governance-related commitments
Driving follow-through across actions and commitments arising from the CEO's schedule
Playing a visible role within the broader EA community, helping foster collaboration, consistency and strong standards of executive support

About you
You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who has supported at CEO, Managing Director or senior C-suite level within a complex corporate environment.
Experience within an ASX-listed organisation will be highly regarded, as will exposure to wealth management, financial services, funds management or another highly regulated environment.
More importantly, you will understand what genuinely senior executive support looks like. You will be comfortable making judgement calls, protecting an executive's time and constructively pushing back when required.
You will bring:
Significant experience supporting a senior executive within a large or complex organisation
Robust understanding of the pace, confidentiality and stakeholder environment of a listed business
Excellent diary, inbox and priority management capability
Sound commercial judgement and the confidence to operate with limited direction
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
A calm, considered approach when priorities change quickly
The ability to build credibility with senior executives, Board-level stakeholders and external contacts
A genuine interest in the organisation and enough commercial curiosity to understand the context behind the CEO's priorities
This is an opportunity for an experienced career EA who enjoys being closely connected to the business and wants to operate as a trusted partner to a highly engaged CEO.
