Nearmap in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer to be the architect and technical owner of the ML infrastructure powering Nearmap AI initiatives. You'll lead 3–4 ML systems engineers, set the platform vision, and drive evolution across Kubernetes, GPU training, real-time endpoints, and MLOps.
You'll build scalable systems on AWS and GCP, champion cost efficiency and reliability, and collaborate with Data Science teams to translate challenges into a robust platform
