ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As a Casual Retail Assistant at
Hush Puppies Warringah Mall
, you'll be the face of our brand, welcoming customers from across Sydney's Northern Beaches and creating a relaxed, friendly and memorable shopping experience.
You'll help customers find footwear that suits their lifestyle, personal style and comfort needs, while providing genuine styling advice and excellent product knowledge. You'll also support the day-to-day running of the store, including sales, stock management and maintaining a clean, inviting and inspiring retail setting.
This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, has a passion for footwear and style, and enjoys being part of a positive and supportive team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer enjoys a welcoming and personalised shopping experience
Connect with customers and help them find the perfect footwear for their lifestyle, needs and personal style
Provide confident and genuine styling advice, helping customers look good and feel good
Build strong customer relationships and create an experience that keeps our Northern Beaches customers coming back
Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring it is clean, organised and visually appealing
Handle transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring customers can easily find the products they're looking for
Support store operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
Work collaboratively with your team to achieve sales targets and store goals
Contribute to a positive,

Passion for providing style advice that makes a difference in our customers' lives and makes their day
A genuine interest in footwear, fashion and personal styling
Experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role in a team environment
A friendly and approachable personality, with the confidence to connect with a diverse range of customers
Able to adapt your selling style to meet the needs of the customer in front of you
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, flexible and can-do attitude
Able to commit to an agreed shift pattern, with flexibility to assist during weekends, peak trade periods and key retail dates
A team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive and inclusive store environment
