We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. You will be responsible for designing, coding and testing software applications to meet client requirements. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working on complex projects, taking ownership of the code and providing guidance to junior developers. Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on delivering innovative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development
5+ years of experience in Java 8+
3+ years of experience in Microservice and familiar with Microservice patterns
2+ years of hands-on development experience in AWS




6+ months experience in Spring WebFlux or a clear understanding of Webflux with the ability to write Reactive services
Solid knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc...
Experience in multithreading, modularity of code, and de-coupling with APIs
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
