About the role
The College of Intensive Care Medicine is seeking a Training Officer to join our Training & Assessments team.
The Training Officer is responsible for providing general administrative support to College trainees as a member of the wider Training Team. The Training Officer is also responsible for supporting the functions of the Trainee Committee through organising meetings, minutes, and agendas. Specific administrative support for withdrawing trainees, admissions to Fellowship and the Transition Year is also in the purview of the Training Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Trainee Committee meetings, reporting and governance activities.
Manage trainee communications, newsletters and stakeholder engagement.
Organise trainee elections, events and committee logistics.
Respond to trainee enquiries and provide exceptional member support.
Administer training programs, assessments, approvals and trainee records.




Process training documentation and maintain accurate data and systems.
Support Transition Year approvals and related trainee queries.
Coordinate Fellowship admission applications and committee administration.
Prepare reports and workforce data to support trainee mapping and Board reporting.
Contribute to training projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will bring
Proven experience in administration and customer service, ideally within a membership, education or professional services environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail across administrative and reporting tasks.
Ability to effectively prioritise workload and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Collaborative team player with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
