As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive National Account Manager to service existing clients, secure new business and develop national client accounts across our event portfolio.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a target driven sales role with a focus on outbound calling and winning new business, while growing existing client accounts across NRL, horse racing, rugby and other major events in the IPE portfolio.
You will be confident picking up the phone, initiating conversations, following up opportunities and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Success requires consistent sales activity, disciplined follow up and attentive account management to match clients with the right hospitality experiences and turning successful events into repeat bookings.
Based in Manly, the role includes interstate travel for events, with evening and weekend event attendance when required.
Key Responsibilities
Sell IPE's hospitality products across NRL, horse racing, rugby and other events in the portfolio.
Proactively call prospective clients and follow up enquiries, leads and referrals.
Present relevant hospitality options to existing and prospective clients, progressing opportunities through to confirmed bookings.
Manage and grow existing client accounts,



providing responsive service and driving repeat bookings.
Research potential customers and develop new business opportunities across a range of industries.
Proactively identify and source leads across a range of industries and market segments.
Maintain accurate client records, sales activity, opportunities and rebooking information in Salesforce.
Meet agreed sales targets and provide regular pipeline updates, client feedback and market insights to the Sales Director.
Work closely with the events team to communicate client requirements and support a seamless guest experience.
Attend client meetings and events as required, with flexibility to support the sales and events teams outside standard business hours.
About You
You are a confident, commercially minded sales qualified who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in following through. You know how to look after existing clients while creating opportunities with new ones while bringing energy, initiative and a strong work ethic to your work.
Experience in account management, B2B sales or business development, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills.
Confidence making outbound calls, identifying prospects and converting opportunities into business.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with consistent follow-up and maintaining accurate CRM records.
Experience using a CRM system and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
The ability to work independently, take ownership of results and contribute to a positive team environment.




Flexibility to travel interstate and attend events on evenings and weekends when required.
Sales experience in corporate hospitality, events, sport, travel or a related sector.
Experience using a CRM database.
An established business network and an interest in major sporting events.
What We Offer
$115,000 base salary plus superannuation and a financially rewarding commission structure, with on-target earnings of $150,000–$175,000.
