Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser Therapist
We are seeking a talented Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser Therapist to join our team in Teneriffe, QLD. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to develop expertise in the growing field of cosmetic and laser treatments. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a modern, patient-centred environment, delivering both nursing expertise and advanced laser therapy services. You will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
Administer cosmetic treatments and procedures including laser therapies with precision and professionalism
Conduct detailed patient consultations to understand treatment goals, assess suitability and discuss expectations
Perform skin assessments and provide personalised treatment recommendations
Operate and maintain cosmetic and laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Educate patients on pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions
Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Maintain a clean, safe and sterile treatment environment at all times
Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, infection control standards and professional nursing codes of conduct
Support the wider team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
Valid Laser Safety Certification or willingness to obtain this qualification
Proven experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
Demonstrated experience in cosmetic nursing or aesthetic medicine (preferred)
Strong knowledge of laser technology, skin anatomy and cosmetic treatment protocols
Excellent patient communication and consultation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Professional presentation and genuine passion for aesthetic nursing
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
