Good at what you do? Sick of boring job ads? Keep reading.
Want
great hours, valuable money, no weekend work, a workshop with actual banter and a boss who doesn't breathe down your neck?
Guess what?
All of this is on the table for the right legend.
We're
Natrad Wagga
, a family-run business in Wagga Wagga, and we're looking for an
Air Conditioning Technician / Refrigeration Mechanic / Fridgie
to join our crew.
And before you think this is another business telling you how amazing they are...
We
won National Franchise of the Year
.
So yes, our standards are high. But so is the way we look after the people who work with us.
We're not looking for a slacker, a ghoster, or someone who suddenly develops a mysterious illness every second Monday.
We want someone
reliable, switched-on, resourceful and actually good with their hands
.
Someone who can diagnose a problem rather than just stare at it.
Someone who turns up when they say they will.
And someone who wants to work somewhere where
good work gets noticed and good people are valued.
WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?
Depending on your experience, your days could include:
Air conditioning diagnostics, servicing and repairs
Fault finding – and actually finding the fault
Refrigeration and cooling system work
Automotive air conditioning
Electrical diagnosis and repairs
Installation and replacement of components
Pressure testing and leak detection
General workshop duties
Learning areas you haven't worked in before
Helping us continue building one of the best aftermarket workshops in the Riverina
If you come from a
refrigeration/HVAC background rather than automotive
, don't automatically rule yourself out.
Talk to us.
If you've got the skills, attitude and willingness to learn, we're interested.
HERE'S THE NON-NEGOTIABLE BIT...
You need to:
Turn up.
This one seems obvious, but apparently it needs saying.
Be reliable and on time
Be clean and well presented
Know how to problem-solve without needing someone to hold your hand
Take pride in your work
Be able to talk to customers and other humans
Work well with a team
Be willing to learn
Have a current driver's licence
Hold the relevant trade/licensing qualifications for the work you undertake
Have an attitude better than
"that'll do"
If you're the type of person who sees something that needs doing and just
does it
, you'll fit in beautifully.
If your favourite sentence is
"that's not my job"
, probably keep scrolling.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
For the right person, we're prepared to be flexible.
Full-time? Let's talk.
Part-time? Let's talk.
Experienced fridgie wanting a change? Definitely talk.
Automotive air-con gun? We want to hear from you.
You'll get:
Monday to Friday hours – 8:00am to 4:00pm.
NO WEEKENDS.
Competitive pay for the right person.
Ongoing training.
A workshop where you're trusted to do your job.
Good banter.
Plenty of laughs.
And a boss who isn't a grump...
most of the time.
We're building a workplace where good people actually want to stay.
STILL READING?
Good.
That already puts you ahead of half the applicants.
All enquiries will be treated with
strict confidentiality
. We're not going to ring your boss and tell them you're looking.
And please don't send us a six-page resume telling us you're a "highly motivated individual who works well independently and as part of a team."
We've read that one before.
Come and have a conversation.
Get off SEEK and come and see
Jason at Natrad Wagga, 37 Pearson Street, Wagga Wagga.
Tell him you saw the ad.
Tell him what you can do.
And if you're the right fit,
let's get to work.
