We are seeking Surveyors with experience working on road construction, TMR, drainage, construction projects, that are wanting to step up into a leadership position in 6-12 months, with having a manager to support your growth.
Key responsibilities
Reviewing project specifications and drawings ahead of site works
Planning and coordinating survey set-out, factoring in project continuity and machinery/contractor use
Ensuring all works are set out in strict accordance with project drawings and specifications
Working with the Site Supervisor/Construction Manager on efficient peg placement, including non-standard situations
Completing all electronic/computer-based calculations ahead of arriving on site
Communicating clearly with site personnel and providing documented advice where needed
Maintaining and securing survey equipment
Supporting a robust safety culture and flagging any unsafe practices or conditions




Generating conformance reports and reporting QA issues, non-conformances and rectification processes
About you
Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar, with proven experience at party leader level in civil construction
Experience using 12D Model Software and Trimble Machine Control Systems
Ability to apply survey principles to civil infrastructure construction
Ability to investigate and report on non-conforming work
Current driver's licence (Class C)
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Strong communication, planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and surveying software
Must have current Australian Working Rights
