Our client is a growing FinTech business providing technology solutions to the global funds and asset management industry. With an expanding international presence, they are looking for an experienced Strategy & Business Development Director to support continued growth in the Australian market.

This is a senior, commercially focused role combining regulatory expertise, product strategy, client engagement and business development.

The Role

You will work closely with product, technology, sales and client teams to identify market opportunities, develop regulatory solutions and support growth across Australia and internationally.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing strategic plans for regulatory and compliance-related products.

Building strong knowledge of key financial services regulations, including EMIR, SFTR, ASIC requirements and MiFID/MiFIR.

Monitoring regulatory developments and identifying opportunities for new products and services.

Working with internal product and technology teams to develop solutions for client regulatory requirements.

Engaging with clients and prospects to understand business challenges and present appropriate solutions.

Supporting product demonstrations,



proof-of-concepts and commercial opportunities.

Developing relationships with relevant industry bodies and regulatory stakeholders.

Acting as a senior point of contact for Australian clients.

Supporting local sales, account management and business development activities.

Building market awareness through industry engagement, thought leadership and speaking opportunities.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

Experience within SaaS, FinTech, financial services or asset management.

Strong knowledge of financial markets regulation and regulatory reporting.

Experience working with technology or software products within financial services.

Robust commercial, strategic and business development capability.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline.
