We currently have an excellent opportunity for a focussed Regional Sales Manager to join our high performing Queensland Sales Team, where finding customer solutions and supporting our customer is centric to what we do.
About the role
In this dynamic role, you will focus on prospecting new customers, maintaining relationships and developing new market segments for our compressed air service solutions.
Based in Berrinba, with plenty of scope to make the role your own! You will be supported with a sales target, SIP, laptop, mobile and company vehicle.
Reporting to the General Manager Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:
Managing a set of major accounts in a designated region to achieve or exceed agreed revenue, margin and customer satisfaction targets.
The development and performance of all sales activities in your assigned market or region through the direct management and motivation of a sales team.
What you will be doing
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
Assist Sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Directly negotiate major key customer opportunities.
Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
Plan and direct the activities of the Sales team
Conduct one-on-one review with Sales staff to monitor performance against KPIs, to identify training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance
You work at your best autonomously knowing that your Leader is behind to guide, mentor and support you when required. This role is part of our high performing and cooperative Queensland team.

You are a successful sales professional who thrives on constant sales challenges and seek to be part of a renowned and globally recognised brand.
Whilst you do not need expertise in air compression specifically, it's important that you can demonstrate field sales experience in an industrial market place. We welcome applicants who understand the relationship between capital equipment and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications
Tertiary education in marketing, business management, commerce or similar field
Experience
Extensive experience leading Sales teams
Demonstrated sales experience in managing key accounts
Track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Proven success in a sales leadership role and the ability to manage a team of sales personnel to successfully achieve sales targets
Experience in developing and monitoring sales budgets and targets
Desired Expertise
Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
Strong desire and drive to achieve / exceed sales targets
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, a genuine interest in people and demonstrated capacity to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to effectively manage customer and staff relationships, promptly responding to queries, ensuring promises are kept and managing expectations.
Must be able to quickly understand the customer, their products and industry
Computer literacy: experience with SAP or a CRM system and confidence using Excel will be of benefit.
