Emporio Pharmacy is seeking an experienced
Pharmacist
to join our team on a
part-time basis
in our Maroochydore, Queensland location. You would be working each Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your pharmaceutical expertise in a community pharmacy setting, providing high-quality patient care and professional services. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, whilst contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our local community.
Key responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
Provide professional advice to customers regarding medication use, interactions, and side effects
Support pharmacy operations, including stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality and data protection
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including GPs and nurses, to optimise patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with pharmacy legislation, regulations, and professional standards
Support and supervise pharmacy staff and trainees as required
Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
What we7re looking for
Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting
Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Demonstrated competency in pharmacy dispensing systems and point-of-sale software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining professional standards
Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
