Key responsibilities
This role will suit a senior psychiatrist who is looking to extend their clinical leadership into regional service development and workforce capability.
With responsibility across both acute and community settings, the position provides considerable scope to influence clinical governance, service models, education and workforce development across the Kimberley.
Provide clinical governance, strategic development and leadership, ensuring adherence to national mental health standards, WA Mental Health Act *****) and other legislation and regulations.
Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment supporting high-quality, evidence based care for consumers, families and carers.
What you need
Unconditional Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship of the Royal Australian & Recent Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
Senior clinical and/or medical leadership experience, with the ability to provide effective clincial governance and lead multidisciplinary teams.
