Speech Pathologist

About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist, you'll work with children and families across the Gold Coast, Tweed and Northern Rivers, delivering assessment, intervention and consultation services within a family-centred and evidence-based framework.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments
Develop and implement individualised intervention plans
Deliver evidence-based therapy services
Support speech, language and communication development
Provide AAC assessment and intervention where appropriate
Support feeding and swallowing needs
Coach and empower families and caregivers
Collaborate with educators and other professionals
Work within a transdisciplinary team workplace
Maintain high-quality reports and documentation
Contribute to continuous service improvement
Who You'll Support
Our clients primarily include:
Children aged 0-12 years




NDIS participants
Early intervention clients
Children with developmental delay
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Speech and language disorders
Motor speech disorders
Social communication challenges
Complex communication needs
Feeding and swallowing difficulties
Services are delivered across:
Clinic settings
Homes
Schools
Early learning environments
Community settings
About You
You're a passionate clinician who values meaningful outcomes, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status (or eligibility)
7 years paediatric clinical experience preferred
Experience supporting children and families
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Current Driver Licence
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded
Early Childhood Intervention experience
Autism and developmental delay experience
AAC experience
Feeding and swallowing experience
Understanding of transdisciplinary practice
Interest in mentoring, leadership or service development
