Macquarie Hospital - located in North Ryde with free parking on site and access to public transport.
What you'll be doing
The Medical Workforce Administration Officer will carry out recruitment transactions and credentialing tasks in relation to the appointment of Senior Medical Practitioners in Northern Sydney Local Health District in an efficient and effective manner. These tasks will be carried out in accordance with NSW Health legislation, policies and procedures.
The role contributes to ensuring Senior Medical Workforce administrative and support customer services are processed in a professional and timely manner.
The incumbent will have excellent attention to detail, be able to foster strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and be required to assist with Medical Workforce projects as requested.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees at all levels within the organisation.
Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to organise work flows and tasks, prioritise, work under pressure and the ability to work in a high volume and demanding professional small team workplace under limited supervision.
Knowledge of Industrial Award environments and ability to read and interpret Industrial Awards. Previous experience with Medical related Awards is desirable.
