his is a hands-on workshop role focused on assembling engines and mechanical components in a structured team environment.
You'll work with quality products, experienced colleagues and modern workshop processes, without the pressures of field service or breakdown work.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fit engines and mechanical components
Perform mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
Inspect parts and components for faults, wear and damage
Support workshop operations and stock handling activities
Assist with loading and unloading as required
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
You may be a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice looking for a role that offers greater stability and work-life balance.
To be successful, you'll have:
Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline, or be a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
Experience working with engines, mechanical components or workshop equipment
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
A reliable, safety-focused approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
