Office Administrator – Electrical & Solar Company
You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and the engine room behind our scheduling and paperwork. As the first dedicated Office Administrator, you'll keep our field team organised, our customers informed and our day-to-day operations running smoothly, and you'll have the chance to shape how our office runs from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
Answering incoming calls and enquiries professionally and promptly
Managing the office inbox, quote requests and website enquiries
Booking jobs and scheduling our electricians and apprentices in ServiceM8
Keeping customers updated on arrival times, job progress and schedule changes
Following up after jobs and requesting Google reviews from happy customers
Following up quotes and converting enquiries into booked work
Reaching out to past customers about servicing, maintenance and upgrades
Raising invoices in ServiceM8 and following up overdue accounts
Preparing and filing Certificates of Test, Form 4s, electrical safety certificates and customer handover documents
Lodging Energex/Ergon solar and battery connection applications and tracking approvals
About you
Previous admin,



scheduling or coordination experience, ideally in a trade or service business
Confident on the phone with a friendly, professional manner
Able to communicate clearly with both customers and tradespeople
Comfortable managing multiple jobs, customers and priorities at once
Calm and organised when the schedule changes throughout the day
Proactive about following up and taking ownership of tasks
Robust attention to detail, especially with compliance paperwork
Experience with solar/battery paperwork (STCs, network applications, rebates) is highly regarded
Full working rights in Australia
