We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Nightshift Fleet Controller, the correct candidate will be required to carry out the daily following tasks:
Responsibilities include:
Preloading trailers by Tug Truck, both Semi and Sideloader for Dayshift.
Setting up the yard for easy access to collect loaded Trailers.
Understanding how the yard is to be laid out to maximise productivity.
Set up Trailers in Workshop for mechanics on Dayshift.
Occasional work in Reach Stacker or Twin Pick Fork as a relief driver (Covering Sick leave or Annual Leave)
The successful candidate musthave:
Valid HC License, (Some on road driving will apply)
Valid LF/ RS License
Ability to follow processes
Experience in wharf transport industry.
Some experience with operating Twin Pick/ Reachstacker Forks
Demonstrate knowledge of Workplace health and safety
Patience and perseverance to deal with ongoing changes
