Airswift has partnered exclusively with Elecnor, a renewable energy leader, internationally and within Australia, to support their blue-collar recruitment across their Australia & New Zealand operations. We are current looking for 10 X Transmission Riggers to join their various projects across Recent South Wales on a permanent basis. Flights will be provided to candidates all over Australia to Sydney for mobilisation. The role Ideally ASAP Start (within next 4 weeks) Assembly of steel lattice towers ("electricity pylons") with associated anti-climbing devices, step-bolts and signage. Stringing of new transmission lines up to 500kV. Apply appropriate earthing schemes to dissipate induced voltages and protect linesmen working on towers. Follow strict safety rules in line with work instructions, risk assessments and permits to work, marking out appropriate danger zones around overhead working areas and ensuring that all known risks at work sites are controlled. Requirements
Experience working on Transmission Line construction and erection, with considerations being made for Telco personnel with large tower experience
Australian Full Working Rights
Driver's license
Australian Recognised Rigger Ticket / equivalent qualifications
White Card
EWP License and Working at Heights highly advantageous
Cert II Transmission Line Construction highly advantageous
Ability to complete full pre-employment medical
