SYSTRA is a global engineering consultancy that provides services across transportation, technology, and security sectors. With more than 10,000 professional employees, our engineering capabilities ensure we deliver world-class, safe and sustainable solutions to projects around the world.
When you join SYSTRA ANZ you can expect to be part of a connected, passionate team that are motivated to find innovative solutions. SYSTRA ANZ is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values difference. We provide a collaborative environment, supporting our employees to achieve career goals and maximise their potential.
The role:
12 month max term contract with the possibility of going permanent
This is an exciting dual-track role: perfect if you are an established coordinator who loves the sourcing engine room, or if you are ready to expand your remit into end-to-end consulting.
In this role, you will be an active ambassador for the SYSTRA & BG&E; brands-representing the businesses at key networking events, industry panels, and graduate recruitment fairs. You will also play an agile support function across the team, partnering closely with our Talent Business Partners and the Director of Talent Acquisition during peak recruitment surges, while driving market mapping initiatives and candidate care locally in Queensland.
Whether your passion lies in sourcing strategy or you're aiming to step up to a full Talent Acquisition Consultant level, you'll have direct mentorship, top-tier tools, and a transparent pathway to grow.
Key Skills:
Act as a key face of SYSTRA ANZ at industry networking events, career expos, talent functions, and graduate fairs-presenting a professional image and articulating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top talent.
Provide agile, hands-on support to the Talent Business Partners and the Director of Talent Acquisition, stepping in to assist with high-volume hiring spikes, graduate campaigns, and national recruitment priorities as workload fluctuates.
Proactively identify, headhunt, and engage passive talent across the QLD engineering and infrastructure market using LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, and direct talent mapping strategies.
Develop and maintain active talent pools for recurring, high-volume, and niche technical disciplines across Queensland.
Coordinate interview schedules, manage ATS workflows, generate offer documentation,

and drive a seamless candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Partner with local team leads to understand team requirements, refine position descriptions, and deliver market intelligence updates.
