Are you a strategic health services leader who thrives on driving impact at a national level?
This is a unique opportunity to lead a national team of health professionals delivering services that support Australians living with or at risk of diabetes. Based in Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart or Sydney you'll play a critical role in shaping service delivery, enhancing health outcomes, and supporting the continued growth and success of our programs.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Executive, NDSS and Diabetes Management, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a diverse portfolio of programs and services, including the NDSS, PHN contracts, clinics and other organisational initiatives.
Leading a multidisciplinary health professional workforce, you will:
Drive the delivery of safe, inclusive and high-quality diabetes health services.
Translate strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
Lead workforce planning, performance, quality assurance and clinical governance activities.
Oversee service delivery KPIs, budgets, resource management and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and service growth.
About You
You're an experienced people leader with a passion for improving health outcomes and have demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of health-related programs and services.
You'll bring:




Relevant AHPRA registration or postgraduate qualifications in a health-related field.
Significant senior leadership experience within health services, including managing budgets, people and resources.
Solid expertise in healthcare governance, quality assurance and risk management.
Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams including developing workforce strategies and delivering complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Experience delivering services across in a range of settings including commercial, regional/remote and telehealth settings.
