We value professional judgement, technical quality and industry involvement, while encouraging our people to contribute ideas for how Koste and the profession can continue to improve.## What you'll work onCommercial tax depreciationDivision 40 plant and equipmentDivision 43 capital worksAsset registers and asset classificationCommercial property inspectionsInsurance replacement costLifecycle planning and CAPEX forecastingCommercial fitoutsTenant and landlord asset assessmentsCGT cost base evidenceHistorical construction cost analysisCommercial property portfolios## ResponsibilitiesManage commercial asset and tax assignmentsUndertake inspections across Melbourne and VictoriaPrepare and review tax depreciation schedulesReview Division 40 and Division 43 treatmentPrepare asset registersReview construction costs, fitouts and CAPEXWork directly with accountants, property owners and advisersReview junior QS work and resolve technical enquiriesSupport proposals and professional relationshipsHelp grow Koste's Melbourne technical capability## ExperienceSignificant Quantity Surveying experienceDemonstrated tax depreciation or capital allowances experienceDemonstrated commercial asset experienceExperience identifying and classifying plant and building assetsCommercial property knowledgeStrong report writing and client-facing experienceAbility to manage projects independentlyAsset registers, insurance replacement cost, lifecycle planning, CAPEX, commercial fitouts, CGT work and technical review experience are highly desirable.## QualificationsQuantity Surveying qualification.
