Role Overview
Site Manager prospect with a major Sydney developer-builder delivering large-scale, high-density residential projects.
The Site Manager will take responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to drive programme, subcontractor performance, quality and safety.
The business is continuing to grow its internal construction capability and has a strong pipeline of major residential developments across Sydney, providing genuine continuity beyond the current project.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of site operations
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades
Drive construction programme and key milestones
Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays
Coordinate sequencing of trades and site activities
Maintain high standards of quality and finishes
Manage QA, defects and inspections
Ensure WHS requirements and site standards are maintained
Coordinate with Project Manager, Foremen, Engineers,



CAs and consultants
Assist with short-term programming and look-ahead programmes
Manage site logistics and access
Attend and contribute to site/project meetings
Drive the project through construction, completion and handover
Ideal Background
Proven Site Manager experience within the Sydney construction market
Strong high-density residential / Class 2 apartment experience
Head Contractor or Developer-Builder background essential
Experience delivering large and complex residential projects
Strong understanding of structures, façade, services, finishes and completion
Strong subcontractor management capability
Confident managing programme, quality and safety
Strong communication and leadership skills
Able to work effectively within a larger project team
Target Background
Developer-builders and established Tier 1 / Tier 2 head contractors delivering major apartment, mixed-use or residential developments.
