Are you passionate about helping people stay healthy, supported, and thriving at work? The City of Karratha is seeking an experienced and proactive Injury Management and Wellbeing Officer to play a key role in enhancing employee wellbeing across our organisation. In this rewarding position, you'll coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs, provide expert guidance to leaders and employees, and drive innovative wellbeing initiatives that make a meaningful difference. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive workplace culture while supporting the health, recovery and wellbeing of our workforce.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage end-to-end injury management and rehabilitation cases for work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
Coordinate medical assessments, treatment plans, return-to-work programs, and stakeholder engagement to achieve positive outcomes.
Provide trusted advice and support to employees, leaders,



and key stakeholders on injury management and wellbeing matters.
Develop and deliver proactive wellbeing programs, initiatives, workshops and campaigns that promote physical and mental health
Monitor compliance, maintain accurate confidential records, and support workers compensation administration and reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For
Experience managing workplace injury cases, rehabilitation programs, and employee return-to-work processes.
Strong knowledge of injury management, rehabilitation, workers compensation and employee wellbeing practices and legislation.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Well-developed communication, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Relevant qualifications in Injury Management, Work Health and Safety, or a related field, along with a current C Class Driver's Licence.
