Hotel Sorrento is seeking an experienced and reliable Stores & Facilities Coordinator to oversee the efficient management of hotel stores, stock and facilities support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, record and distribute hotel stock and supplier deliveries.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and organised, secure storage areas.
Manage beverage, linen, chemicals, guest amenities and operational consumables.
Coordinate stocktakes and ensure delivery documentation is accurately processed.
Complete general handyman duties and routine maintenance across the hotel.
Coordinate maintenance requests through Flexkeeping and liaise with relevant departments and contractors.
Support preventative maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, safety and compliance across back-of-house areas.
Provide operational support to departments as required.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, practical and reliable,
with robust attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Full-time position available for an immediate start!
Valid forklift licence.
Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety.
Ability to safely lift, move and handle stock and equipment.
Competence with technology and operational systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Availability to adjust rosters during seasonal operational periods.
