LINX Port Services is seeking casual Stevedores to join our Melbourne operations. In this role you'll play a key part in the safe and efficient unloading of vehicles from vessels arriving in the Port of Melbourne, while maintaining the highest safety standards.
This is a hands‐on role, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced port professionals in a unique operational setting.
Please note this is a casual position and shifts are allocated based on operational requirements. There is
no minimum
guarantee of shifts or hours you will get per week.
Key Responsibilities
Driving vehicles on and off vessels.
Marshalling and positioning vehicles within designated areas.
Assisting with vessel unloading operations.
Conducting pre-operational inspections and safety checks.
Releasing and securing various cargo.
Assisting with general stevedoring duties as required.
About You
Flexibility to work on short notice, including day, afternoon and night shifts (please note this will not suit a FIFO or DIDO lifestyle).
Have a lifestyle that can cater to a daily roster.
Availability for up to 12-hour shifts as required.
Previous experience in stevedoring or logistics is highly desirable but not required.

Team player with strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and a national criminal history check.
