Looking for a rewarding opportunity to support patient care and be part of a dedicated clinical team? Join Nepean Hospital as a Technical Assistant and play an important role in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
In this role, you will assist medical and nursing staff with technical procedures and associated tasks under the direction of the Senior Medical Officer and Nursing Team Leader. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of clinical services while supporting positive patient outcomes. Success in this position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What you will bring to the role
Well-developed time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with set deadlines.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently.
Demonstrated good communication skills in English and the ability to read and understand essential documentation.
Previous experience in health care and/or education in health related field.
Demonstrated computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills.
Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays, able to work reasonable overtime.
