A consultancy that gives builders and insurers practical engineering advice needs an undergraduate to strengthen its specialty and major projects group in Sydney. The employer wants someone who can write clear technical reports, read how a structure behaves and keep careful track of detail.
The firm's work runs in two streams. One assesses harm to residential, commercial and industrial property and turns it into insurance reports and scopes of work. The other covers structural, civil and stormwater design for developments across those same sectors. The successful undergraduate contributes to both, learning from senior engineers and alongside geotechnical, stormwater and architectural designers.

Prepare causation reports on building defects and damage that meet client expectations

A high level of English writing and structural analytical skills, which will be highly regarded
