This is no ordinary claims adjusting role; You’ll be the go-to expert for loss management, risk assessment, and technical advice in the general insurance and business world. Basically, you’ll help clients navigate claims and make sure they get what they’re owed—fairly and on time.
What we want you to bring to our clients team:
- Extensive Loss Adjusting knowledge (3+ years external)
- Commercial experience is advantageous (not essential)
- An empathetic approach to ensure all parties have a fair outcome.
- Keen to express themselves and learn current skills.
- Be ready for assignments away from home when called upon (Local, domestic and international assignments)
- A good grasp of insurance policy coverage and legal interpretation.
Skills & Requirements
- Spot opportunities to help clients with claims prep/loss adjusting and turn those leads into happy customers.
- Set up service agreements and handle any pre-approvals needed.
- Investigate and manage claims, making sure they’re handled right under the policy terms—so clients get valid pay-outs without unnecessary delays.
- Keep track of your time and work (aka WIP) accurately.
- Invoice promptly and stay on top of payments (no one likes chasing money).
- Help train and develop other team members when needed.
- Cross sells our clients other services (like eService's, Consulting, and Education) and help your teammates deliver them.
