About the role

Dalkeith Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Practice Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Dalkeith, Western Australia. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Position Details:

- Type: Part-Time

- Hours: Approximately 23 hours per week (Additional Hours may be required - Leave Cover)

- Location: Dalkeith

- Clinic Operation Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am - 6pm
Saturday: 8 am - 1 pm (Alternate Saturdays)

What you'll be doing

- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education

- Administering immunisations, vaccinations, and other medical procedures as required

- Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations

- Supporting the practice's infection control and workplace health and safety protocols

- Support the Practice Manager and Principal GP in quality improvement activities

- Engaging in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance nursing knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate

- Previous experience in a general practice or primary care setting is highly regarded

- Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of nursing processes and procedures

- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and data management

- Candidates must demonstrate competency in any electronic medical record system with strong data management capabilities

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team

- Commitment to providing high-quality,

- Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, rapid-paced environment

Essential Requirements:

- Current unrestricted registration as Nurse with AHPRA

- Current CPR Certificate

- Immunisation Competency Certificate

- Demonstrate experience in cold chain management and monitoring

- Australian working rights with no restrictions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritise your workload and working autonomously

- Maintain a vibrant and friendly attitude

- Willingness to assist in Administrative tasks

- Excellent computer skills is a requirement

- Professional attitude and proactive work ethic with attention to detail

- Excellent time management and organisational skills

- Ability to work both independently and or as part of a TEAM

- Must be available to work alternate Saturdays
