Tradelink Wangaratta is looking for a Showroom Consultant who loves working with people, enjoys sales and gets a kick out of seeing a project come together.

This isn’t just about waiting for customers to walk through the door. You’ll build relationships, follow up opportunities, manage your own projects and play an active role in growing the showroom.

What you’ll be doing

- Guiding customers through product selections and providing practical advice.
- Turning ideas and selections into quotes, orders and completed projects.
- Managing showroom projects for builders and their clients.
- Building relationships with local builders, suppliers and repeat customers.
- Following up leads, quotes and sales opportunities.
- Keeping the showroom looking sharp, current and inviting.
- Supporting the wider branch team when needed.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who enjoys working with customers, knows how to build rapport and is comfortable taking ownership of the sales process. Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Robust customer service and sales skills.
- Confidence following up opportunities and asking for the sale.
- Strong ties to the Wangaratta community,



local industry knowledge or an established network across builders, trades or other local businesses.
- The ability to manage multiple customers, quotes and orders at once.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to work independently while still being a great team player.
- An interest in learning, developing and building a long-term career.

Experience in showroom sales, plumbing, building products, trade supplies or a similar environment would be highly regarded, but strong sales ability, local connections and the right attitude are just as important.
