SustainHealth Recruitment is seeking a motivated Clinical Services Manager to join a well-established private hospital in Western Sydney, approximately 15 minutes from Parramatta CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished nursing leader to oversee surgical and rehabilitation services, influence clinical outcomes and play a key role in the hospital's continued growth and operational success.

Working closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, you will combine your clinical expertise, people leadership and business acumen to deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring effective and financially sustainable services.

About the Role

As Clinical Services Manager, you will provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across surgical and rehabilitation services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the delivery of safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care across clinical services.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily clinical operations, optimise theatre utilisation, improve patient flow and enhance service efficiency.
- Clinical Governance: Maintain high standards of quality, patient safety, accreditation and regulatory compliance.
- People Management: Lead, mentor and develop nursing teams while fostering a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture.




- Financial Performance: Manage departmental budgets, workforce planning and labour costs to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Strategic Growth: Work collaboratively with senior executives to support service expansion, business improvement and ongoing development of surgical and rehabilitation services.

About You

We are looking for a confident, approachable and results-driven nursing leader who can balance clinical excellence with sound operational and financial decision-making.

Essential Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Nurse Unit Manager
- Demonstrated clinical experience across both surgical and rehabilitation nursing
- Strong understanding of private hospital operations, clinical governance and quality standards
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

Highly Regarded:

- Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Healthcare Management or a related discipline
- Experience managing clinical budgets, workforce costs and operational performance
- Previous involvement in service development,



strategic planning or hospital improvement initiatives
