This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join an established and highly regarded operation, with a clear pathway to step into the Head Chef position.

The Role

As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and ensure consistently high standards across food quality, preparation and service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play an significant part in daily kitchen operations, team development, menu execution, stock control and maintaining a high-performance kitchen culture. Importantly, this role offers genuine career progression to Head Chef, making it an ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership capabilities within an established hospitality business.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- - Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or experienced Sous Chef within a quality restaurant environment
- - Strong modern Italian or Mediterranean culinary experience in a high volume venue/s
- - Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a professional kitchen team
- - Strong understanding of high-volume restaurant service and quality food production
- - Experience with ordering, stock control, food costs and kitchen organisation
- - Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality food
- - Ability to maintain high standards during busy service periods & have - Strong communication and leadership skills
- - A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- - Ambition to progress into a Head Chef position
