Lead the Buildings Civil & Urban Precincts capability of a High-Performing Engineering Consultant and play a key role in delivering Major Projects.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Lead to step into a senior technical and leadership position with a leading engineering consultancy.

The role is suited to someone who combines strong Buildings Civil Design Capability with the ability to lead projects, develop people and build strong client relationships.

The Opportunity
As Civil Engineering Lead, you will take responsibility for the delivery of Buildings Civil projects while providing technical leadership across the team.

You will work closely with structural engineers, architects, project managers and other building services disciplines to deliver practical, coordinated civil engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the civil engineering design and delivery of major building projects
- Provide technical leadership across Buildings Civil projects
- Oversee civil site works, stormwater, drainage and external works design
- Lead project teams from concept through to detailed design and construction
- Review and provide technical guidance on designs, documentation and engineering solutions
- Coordinate civil designs with structural, architectural and building services disciplines
- Manage client relationships and represent the civil engineering team at project meetings
- Mentor and develop junior and senior civil engineers
- Assist with project planning, resourcing and delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve technical capability and grow the Buildings Civil team
- Contribute to proposals, tenders and business development activities

What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with Civil Engineers who have:

- A relevant Civil Engineering Degree
- Strong experience within consulting engineering
- Proven Buildings Civil experience




- Strong technical capability across civil site works, drainage and stormwater
- Experience leading projects and/or civil engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- A commercial mindset and interest in developing client relationships
- The ambition to take a genuine leadership role within a growing civil engineering team
