Room Leader | North Parramatta | Full Time $43-$61/hr + super

Early learning centre in North Parramatta is seeking an experienced Room Leader to join the team and help establish a warm, organised and high-quality learning environment from day one, and lead the approved preschool program and create a rich, play based learning environment for children.

This full time role is ideal for an ECT or Diploma qualified educator who is confident leading a room, guiding a team and creating meaningful, child centred experiences.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver a high quality program aligned with EYLF and relevant frameworks
Lead daily routines, programming and documentation
Support educators with planning, intentional teaching and reflective practice Build solid relationships with families and colleagues
Maintain a calm, organised and engaging learning environment
Model professionalism, communication and teamwork
Contribute to centre wide quality and curriculum decisions





What We Are Looking For room Leaders

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Strong experience leading a room and supporting a team
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Confidence with EYLF, NQS and high quality practice Warm, collaborative and professional approach
Full time availability

All educators must demonstrate a high quality understanding of child protection legislation, the ability to identify early signs of harm or vulnerability, consistent adherence to safe practices, respectful and trauma informed interactions, and professional boundaries at all times.
