We’re seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who combines polished service, confident leadership and a genuine passion for food and beverage.

The Opportunity:

Lead the restaurant operations of an award-winning gastro pub where quality food and warm, attentive service are central to the guest experience.
You’ll be a visible presence on the floor, developing your team, building relationships with guests and working closely with the kitchen and venue leadership to deliver memorable dining experiences.

The Role:

- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and oversee busy services.
- Recruit, train and develop a confident, knowledgeable front-of-house team.
- Deliver welcoming, polished service with strong attention to detail.
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service and consistent standards.
- Manage rostering, labour costs and restaurant performance.
- Oversee bookings, resolve guest feedback and build repeat business.
- Develop the team’s food, wine and beverage knowledge.

About You:





You’re an experienced Restaurant Manager with a background in quality restaurants, gastro pubs or food and beverage focused hospitality groups.
You bring:

- A proven ability to lead a busy, quality dining operation.
- Professional presentation and confident, articulate communication.
- Strong food and wine knowledge and a passion for contemporary hospitality.
- A hands-on leadership style that builds trust and accountability.
- Commercial awareness, sound organisation and composure under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for relocating to Newcastle and becoming part of the local community.
