What You’ll Be Working On:
You’ll play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of high-quality LV switchboards and switchrooms/ mobile substations for major industry projects across Australia.
Skills required:
- Assembly and wiring of LV switchboards and control panels
- Or proven experience in LV, HV Switchrooms or substations.
- commercial or industrial construction
- Cable running, neat cable tray installation
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Modular switchboard construction (CUBIC, Elsteel)
- Wiring MCCs, PLC Panels, Distribution Boards and Control Panels
- Problem solving skills
Qualifications and attributes required:
- Electrical trades assistant experience
- candidates who are fully qualified in another country or part qualified in Australia are highly desirable.
- Robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Team-focused attitude with the ability to work autonomously
- Must have own insulated hand tools
